Mrs. Latifa Allawi a widow visited the Bayaa Citizens Care and Advice Centre seeking help for her son, Saif Abdul-Sattar who has lost his eyesight as a result of a bomb blast in Abu Grayb district.

The injury caused bleeding and increased pressure in his eyes which resulted in retinal detachment. 

Saif is in need of an urgent operation to regain his eyesight, and Mrs. Allawi is appealing for financial help from donors in order that the required operation may be performed and that this young boy may have a chance to regain his sight and lead a normal life.
