Mrs. Nagham Kareem, a displaced widow from Jurf Al-Sakhar came to our centre desperately seeking help.  She lost her husband during the fighting and is left with five children to support. She has rented a house to accommodate herself and her orphans which is costing her 350,000 IQD (approx £184) monthly and, with the start of the academic year, she needs financial help to buy school uniforms and school bags for her children.

Mrs. Kareem’s health condition is critical as she suffers from kidney failure and lung fibrosis. She does not have money to pay for the treatment she requires which includes oxygen bottles and other medication, all of which are very expensive.

Nagham’s living and financial situation are extremely desperate and she urgently seeks urgent help to get by and support her family.
