As part of the regular inspection visits carried out by the staff of Najaf Centre to assess the wellbeing of orphans registered with the centre, the staff visited the family of the widow Nasrah Hayawi Hussain . She lives with her two young children in a house not suitable for living. The windows are without glass and the roof is falling apart.  The house is far away from the city centre in the outskirts of Najaf and there is no local school in the area which forces the orphans to walk long distances to get to the nearest school.

The widow is appealing for help to finish the rebuilding of her house which is not suitable for decent living. She requires financial support to buy clothes and bedding for the children and she also in need for domestic electrical appliances.

Her requirements as follows:

1. Refrigerator which costs 300 thousand Iraqi Dinars
2. Cooker which costs 150 thousand Iraqi Dinars
3. Oil Heater which costs 60 thousand Iraqi Dinars
4. Carpet which costs 100 thousand Iraqi Dinars
5. Boiler 100 thousand Iraqi Dinars
6. Clothes for the children
7. Beds and blankets
