Mrs. Hakeema Mohammed Al-Mousawi lost her husband to kidney cancer seven months ago.  She now has five orphaned children - three sons and two daughters, plus two grandchildren to support.

 Both daughters are married and the eldest of the three sons is married and has two children.  The son  suffers from a psychiatric illness and is unemployed. His wife is also unable to work as she is a diabetic and has high blood pressure.  Due to lack of income, they are unable to get vital medical help for their cronic health conditions.

The remaining two sons Abbas (sixteen years old) and Hussain (thirteen years old) are living in a single room with the deceased father’s family.  They have no money and have not received their social security entitlement due to a delay in their application.

This family is living under very difficult circumstances.  The mother has no money to support them as the deceased father was working on a daily cash wage basis.

This family needs urgent financial help to meet their daily living requirements. They also require essential basic domestic appliances - their fridge is out of order and needs to be replaced, and they will need an air cooler for the hot summer months as the fan they have is totally inadequate.
