Mrs. Intikal Abdul-Hassan Kaheet is a mother of six children.  Tragically her husband died of a heart attack in 2008 and she was left with no source of income or support to tend to her children other than a single room, which her own family fortunately provided for her to live in with her children.

 Intikal is a hard working woman and is keen to provide her children with the best she can in order to ensure a good future for them.  She encourages them to work hard at school in spite of their difficult living conditions.

Unfortunately, one of the children suffers from epilepsy. Intikal  receives a small social benefit which sadly does not stretch far enough to cover the daily needs of the family and the childrens’ education,  in addition to the cost of treatment of the sick child with epilepsy.

During a visit from Najaf Centre staff she appealed for help from generous people to provide the following

1. Fridge for £170.00
2. A fan for £20.00
3. Financial support to pay £11.00 monthly for the treatment and medication her epileptic son depends upon.
