With these words a child said farewell to her dad who lost his life when he sacrificed his life fighting for his country. He left behind 4 children the last one was born without a father.

As part of the regular inspection visits carried out by the staff of Najaf Centre to assess the wellbeing of orphans whose fathers lost their lives fighting for their country, they visited Mrs Fatin Abdul Hassan Joudah. She lives with the family of her dead husband who lost his life in Jurf Al-Sakhar .

The staff spoke to the mother of the son.  She was extremely distressed and emotional over the loss of her only son, and expressed her deep concerns for his 4 children who are left without a father to support them and provide a decent living.

When asked about their requirements they said they need the following:

1. Air cooler which costs£150-00
2. A fridge which costs £175-00
3. School expenses for the children.
