As part of the regular inspection visits carried out by the staff of Najaf Centrein order to assess the wellbeing of displaced families, staff visited the family of Haj Abu Adham.

His daughter and her husband were killed.  Their six children were taken away and left without food, drink and official identity documents.   Fortunately, the children were later found by some kind people who took them to the Holy Shrine in Najaf where they were finally reunited with their grandfather.

When Najaf Centre staff enquired of their needs, they asked for help to continue their education and some clothes. The eldest daughter said she “needs a cloak (abaya) and support for my brothers to continue their studies”.

This family needs a monthly sponsorship of £140.00 to provide for their daily needs of food, clothing and schooling.
