Mrs. Rabab Abdul Hussein (born 1982) has four children.  Her and her family are surviving under harsh and difficult living conditions. Her husband, who earned daily wages working as porter in a store, lost his job.  

Currently, the family are living in a shared rented house together with Rahab’s mother who is blind and also in need of financial as well as physical help.

Rahab herself now needs Alcon surgery in her right eye, which the family cannot afford.

Additionally, they are struggling to cover the cost of transportation and other financial costs for the children who are now in school.

Rabab sought the help of our centre in Baghdad after she lost hope in resolving her family problems by any other means.   She is now appealing to the generosity of thoughtful donors to help her during this difficult and challenging time.

Her immediate needs are:

• Monthly funding of IQD 100,000 (approximately £60) to cover the costs of her treatment and doctor’s appointments
• She urgently needs IQD 150,000 (approximately £90) for surgery for her eye.
