On a recent visit undertaken by the staff of Bayaa Citizen Care and Advice Centre to underprivileged families, the team visited the family of Mariam Ma'ruf Marhun. 

The child suffers paralysis in her lower limbs and has a deformity in her back.  This has necessitated a number of expensive surgeries.

As the team checked the medical reports of the child, it appeared that the child needs constant medical care and monthly medication which the family cannot provide as the family has other five young daughters, and they all live together in a rented house.

Mariam's father and Bayaa Center call upon philanthropists and donors to help finance the monthly cost of IQD 100.000 (approx £60) which will cover the medical expenses that Mariam requires.
