The staff of Basrah Citizens Advice and Care Centre recently visited the house of Tahseen Ali Haider who was formerly a soldier in the Iraqi army.  Tahseen unfortunately suffered an injury in the spinal cord which left him totally disabled for months.  He is now bedridden.  Because of his inability to move he has developed skin infections.

This army veteran lives illegally in a small house with his wife and five children in al-Haritha in Basra.

Tahseen needs an electric wheelchair to enable him to get out of the house and reduce his depression

He also needs monthly donation to provide for medication and other life necessities.
