Staff from the Basra Citizens Advice and Care Centre visited the family of Mrs. Ikhlas Muftah Dawood who has supported her three children since the death of her husband, Ali Naser, due to a terrorism situation.

Ikhlas and her children now live in one room (separate) with a relative.  They have no income except for the charity of generous people. Despite the destitute situation, her two daughters are still continuing with their studies.  Unfortunately, her son, Maitham, suffers heart and respiration problems.

This family, needs financial support to buy basic domestic needs:

A fridge that costs IQD200000 (approx £120)

A cooker that costs IQD150000 (approx £90)

Sheets and blankets for winter that cost IQD150000 (approx £90)

A monthly donation of IQD50000 (approx £30) to cover the cost of medical treatment for her son.
