Status Law in the United Kingdom
The cultural and counselling programmes conducted by Shakiry Charity for Social Solidarity, and supported by Trafford Hall are intended to provide guidance and support to Iraqi people living in the UK.
On Saturday 16th January, Shakiry Charity will hold a workshop on Status Law in the United Kingdom. The subject matter will include the laws of divorce and financial settlement after divorce. Further, the seminar will tackle the subject of child custody and domestic violence as well as information on Children Support system.
The workshop will be presented by Mrs. AyaadFadhli al-Lami , who is an experienced lawyer in Status Law in UK. Mrs Lami will be available to discuss and answer any audience inquiries related to the points raised in this workshop, as well as the topics covered in the two previous workshops namely :
- Social Support Laws
- Immigration, Residence and Citizenship
