The staff of the Najaf Center recently visited the family of Mrs. Fatima Jabar Khalaf who lives in Radhawaya district.  Fatima has three children but one of them had to leave school to look after her ill parents.

Fatima Jabar, who was diagnosed with three thyroid cancer clots, underwent surgery, and now has to receive chemical therapy in Baghdad.  Meanwhile, her husband suffers from cerebral atrophy and imbalance and weakness in the limbs.

Fatima receives a social benefit of IQD 150000 (£ 88) which supports the basic minimum needs of her disabled husband.

The ill-fated woman urgently needs the following support:

-          Medical treatment expenses that cost IQD 150000 (£ 95.00 approx)

-          Monthly rent for her house which is IQD 125000 (£ 74.00 approx)

-          Clothes for her children that cost IQD 100000 (£ 59.00 approx)

-          Disabled diapers which cost IQD 50000 (£ 28.00 approx)
