The staff of Najaf center visited the house of Mrs. Kadhima Abdul Hussein Ayadh who lives in illegal accommodation in Hay al-Askry.

Kadhima lost her husband in a terrorist explosion in 2005 in Baghdad, and since then she has been the sole provider for her five orphans.  Two of the children are still in school while the rest dropped out to work in construction.

The family lives in the ruins of a house.  When they were asked about what their needs were, they replied:

Beds and blankets IQD 150000 (£95.00 approx)

Stove IQD 150000 (£95.00 approx)

Clothes for her children 150000 (£95 approx)

The widow asks philanthropists to reach out and help her to provide the basic necessities for her family.
