Representatives from the Citizen Care and Advice Centre supported by Shakiry Charity visited the widow Nidaa Mahmoud Jasem who lives in Kadaa Abi Alkhateeb.

This widow takes care of three orphans aged between 9 and 18 years.  Tragically, she does not have any means of income to provide for the needs of her orphans.

The family lives in a rundown house.  Due to their financial situation, they are unable to afford any basic essential  electrical devices and other needs to make their life bearable.

This family is in need of:

-          Financial help of approximately £200.00 (300,000 Iraqi dinars) to purchase some basic household items such as a cooling system and a refrigerator.

-          A monthly sponsorship of approximately £30,00 (50,000 Iraqi dinars) for each orphan.
