The Centre’s staff visited the widow Huda Razaq Mahmoud, a mother of five orphans aged between 7-18 years.  They live in an area called Shuhadaa Al-Bayaa.

Huda’s husband died three years ago.  She has no means of income except she receives some support from her eldest son who 18 years old.  Her son dropped out of school and has to work to earn a daily income to help support the family.  But, this is not adequate to meet their needs.

In addition to struggling to live under poverty, this unfortunate widow, and mother has a young son who is battling from a rare heart disease (an opening between the atrium and a narrowing of the pulmonary valve).  Huda and her son are unable to find money to pay for the medication or medical appointments required.

You can help this family by:

-          A monthly medical sponsorship of £32 ( approximately 50,000 Iraqi dinars) for the ill child (Mohamad Ghaleb Hani).
