Our staff visited Mrs. Fatima Nasser Abdul Rasul who lives in the district of Mashkhab.  Fatima and her three orphans live in a house comprising of one room and a kitchen, which lacks the most basic household necessities.  

All three orphans are dependent on her. Her eldest son had to abandon school due to the psychological trauma of his father’s death, who died of an incurable disease. Her two daughters are continuing their studies.

Fatima receives the equivalent of £322 (500,000 Iraqi dinars) which she uses to provide the most important needs

This family’s urgent needs are:

-          A monthly sponsorship of £32 (50,000 Iraqi dinars) towards their living              expenses

-          A cooker costing £64 (100,000 Iraqi dinars)

-          A fridge costing £129 (200,000 Iraqi dinars)

-          Financial help of £32 (50,000 Iraqi dinars) for living expenses.
