On the 4th August, our staff visited Auroba Badran, a mother of seven children aged 1-15 years, who all suffer from Thalassemia (an inherited blood disorder).
Auroba lives in a house with her children and husband. Their rent costs £161 (250,000 Iraqi dinars) a month. They do not have a fridge. Auroba is barely able to cope with her situation and the hardship that she is going through.
Although her husband works, he only earns a daily income of £16 (25,000 Iraqi dinars). This does not meet the requirements and the needs of the family because all seven children need looking after and monthly blood transfusions.
Please support this family who is in need of:
- A monthly sponsorship of £16 (25,000 Iraqi dinars) per child
- A fridge costing £129 (200,000 Iraqi dinars)
