Staff from Bayaa Centre visited the family of the widow Majeda Hatem Matar who live in Hay Al-Amel in her parents’ home.  This house lacks many basic commodities.

Majeda has two daughters aged 13 and 14 years who are both studying. They have no other source of income other than a small amount equivalent to £81 (125,000 Iraqi Dinars) which they receive from a Social Welfare monthly.

Majeda’s mother is disabled and needs special care.

The widow is in need of:

-          A cooker costing £130 (200,000 Iraqi Dinars)

-          A fridge costing £163 (250,000 Iraqi Dinars)

-          A monthly sponsorship of £16 (25,000 Iraqi Dinars) for each of her two daughters

Our Centre’s staff and the widow are hopeful that through the generosity of people their difficulties will be supported.
