Mother and orphaned daughter need support

The staff of Karbala Branch visited the house of Enas M. H.  This widow lives with her orphaned daughter in a rented house costing 100,000 IQD (approx. £60) per month. They have been living under challenging conditions since losing the father in a fire accident, in which they were all exposed.

The mother suffers from the effects of her burns.  She has no source of income apart from donations she receives from time to time from benevolent people.

The house lacks simple household appliances needed in normal everyday life.

This family needs:

• Ongoing orphan sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) per month for each orphan (x1).
• A donation of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) to buy a ceiling fan.
• A donation of 250,000 IQD (approx. £155) to buy a washing machine.
