Willing mother of 4 orphans appeals for compassion

The staff of Karbala Branch visited the house of the widow Kadhmiya S. S.  This widow is living in a slum area with her one son and three daughters.  Since losing their father they have been experiencing very difficult living conditions. 

Kadhmiya does not have any source of regular income except for the occasional help she receives from some charitable and benevolent people. Their home lacks basic house appliances needed in their normal everyday life.

This family needs:

• Ongoing orphan sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) per month for each orphan (x4).
• A donation of 350,000 IQD (approx. £215) to buy a refrigerator.
• A donation of 250,000 IQD (approx. £155) to buy a washing machine.
• A donation of 3,000,000 IQD (approx. £1.850) to buy an auto rickshaw so that Kadhmiya can start a small business to generate an income.
