Response to an Appeal: Monthly orphan sponsorship.
Staff from Sadr City Branch were delighted to confirm one of our donors, Mrs Suha Shubar had offered to provide monthly sponsorship to an orphan named, Muntadhar A.H.
The sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) per month falls under our Shakiry Charity for Social Solidarity, “Support an Orphan Programme”.
The orphan's mother visited Sadr City Branch offices to acknowledge receipt of the sponsorship. On this occasion, she took the opportunity to select winter blankets and covers for her children from Shakiry Charity shop.
Staff from the branch and the mother of the orphan extend their thanks and gratitude to Mrs Suha Shubbar.
