Mother and five orphans appeal to humanity for help
Staff from Basra Branch visited the family of the widow Jehan A. S.
They found that the family consists of six members, the mother and her five orphans. The family lives in a simple house they inherited. The house is not equipped with basic everyday items due to their poverty. The family’s only source of income is a minimal social benefit allowance, which is not enough to cover their living needs and school expenses.
After their father died, the mother took on sole responsibility for her children. She insisted on them completing their academic journey.
This poor mother is unwell. She suffers from several clots and requires monthly treatment costing 35,000 IQD (approx. £20) each time.
In desperation, Jehan sought help from Al Shakiry Charity, Basra Branch. Jehan and her orphans endure a very harsh lifestyle and live under difficult circumstances.
We hope, through the generosity of benevolent Donors to provide assistance to this family in order that they may overcome their difficult life.
