Dhi Qar - Citizens' Advice And Care Centre (Al-Nasiriyah branch).

After the arrival of donations from an English well-wisher the Centre's staff started by buying building materials to make a kitchen roof and building an external enclosure for the house of the widow Mrs Hidia Mitair Fihid (Um Hakima) located in the Al-Tijawiz district known as Tijawiz district Sid Dhab at the end of Street 30 in Al-Nasiriyah.

Mrs Um Hakima has four daughters and two sons, one of them married and unemployed who built the kitchen and the enclosure with help from a volunteer from the local area.

The total donations spent on the aforementioned family reached 448,500 Iraqi Dinars. There follows the details:

Number of blocks: 300     Price: 200,000 Dinars

Cost of transporting blocks: 25,000 Dinars

Cartload of sand and ten sacks of cement: 83,500 Dinars

Metallic boards: 105,000 Dinars

Cost of transporting metallic boards: 35,000 Dinars

Total: 448,500 Dinars
