According to reports, and as an example, most of the UK population own clothes that have been worn in all probability for only a third of their practical life and are squirreled away somewhere in the wardrobes of most women in Britain of active use, and there are an average of 22% of clothing items that never been worn and are hidden at the back and of wardrobe of every  women in Britain.  

Clothes collections are a valuable source of income for charities and are a suitable avenue for donating. It only involves a small amount of time, effort and shipping to Iraq , knowing that it costs approximately one pound sterling per kilogram.  

Information obtained from researches showed that the average income earned from clothes collections is up to £10 for every pound invested, it is a very good number compared to other fundraising methods carried out by charities.

A report published on 14.05.2012, showed that the value of transactions of charity shops in the UK amounted to nearly one billion pounds (1.6 billion U.S. dollars) as capital in 2011, which is a record amount, an increase of 3.6%rate for the year earlier.

Spare clothes that had not been donated until now:

Retailers’ charity Association said that there are still millions of people who keep their spare clothing and items in their homes, which can turn into cash for charity work. The survey also found out that three-quarters of people say that they have spare clothes kept in their wardrobes and do not want to use them, The reasons they still have them are numerous: storage, lack of time, simply not thinking about them and had forgotten about them in the recesses of the wardrobes.

The CEO of retailers Charity organization says: "The unwanted items in people's homes are equal to millions of pounds that is not invested for the benefit of charitable work."

Now you can donate some time and effort by collecting what you or others have from unwanted clothes, costumes, accessories, shoes and toys and pack them into boxes and bags.
