To the Iraqi Charities Forum

We are the Al-Rahma charity. We sponsor orphans with disabilities and chronic diseases. We thank you for publishing an emergency appeal for the orphan Zayd Faisal who had his hand amputed.. We received a phone call from the office of the Prime Minister who requested reports about the orphan Zayd, however at the same time we informed him about other cases that we had of other children in need of limbs. As a result the appeal was answered, we went to see them, their help has started and hopefully these cases will receive the artificial limbs they need. In addition to the orphan Zayd Faisal, there is the child Hussain Riyad and Yusuf Tahsin. This is all thanks to you, if it was not for your publication about Zayd’s condition, they would not have responded to us. Thank you.

To the Iraqi Charities Forum,

Brothers and sisters at the Iraqi Charities Forum, we do not know how to thank you or how to express our joy. You can not imagine the number of telephone calls that we received from people willing to help this child. I swear by God that I am writing this letter and my eyes are overflowing with tears. And as for the mother of the sick child, the happiness has returned to her heart. Many thanks to you.

As for the people who responded to the appeal, they were a charity group, whose names we will forward to you, they currently ask for the medical community, the treatment and how it is delivered. There is a person from the UAE who is willing to donate $500 to Ali’s mother; also, there is another person from Australia who wishes to donate $100. We were contacted by the director of Mr Ammar Al-Hakim in order for us to help him and he promised us that he will take the necessary procedures for the child. We were also contacted by The Iraqi embassy in Austria and the Iraqi TV Channel which filmed the child and his mother. They will deliver the message to the Iraqi Prime Minister perhaps he would help this mother and her child.
