Citizen’s Care and Advice Centre (Najaf branch)
Staff at the Najaf Care Centre made the decision to help some of the women who were granted sewing machines under the support for new businesses scheme. They purchased textiles and sewing supplies at wholesale rates for five of these ladies in the expectation that they would use this to kick-start their sewing businesses.
