Ten year old Jabar Haidar Jabar, suffers from severe epilepsy. His teacher has informed his parents that he is a first class student with great potential, however he urgently requires medical attention as his disability is deteriorating daily and this situation is impeding upon his educational achievements at school.  Each time Jabar suffers a seizure he falls to the floor, and this has caused him to sustain other injuries.

Jabar’s father is unable to afford the cost of treatment for Jabar, and cannot provide for his family’s basic living needs due to his own illness. Mrs Jabar tried her best to help her son, and opened a small business, which unfortunately failed due to the deteriorating conditions in the area where they live. In desperation, Jabar’s mother visited Grayaat Advice and Care Centre in the hope that her son may receive help in facing this calamity through the support of goodhearted citizens.

The family are destitute.

We urgently appeal for financial help from a generous donor to cover the monthly cost of IQD350,000 (around £200) which will enable Jabar to receive the required medical treatment to lead a normal life and continue with his studies.
