Everyclick offers free email marketing toolkit to UK charities
11/01/2007

Everyclick.com, the search engine that donates 50% of its revenue to charity each month, has partnered with Charity Technology Trust (CTT) to provide all charities with access to a free email marketing service. Everyclick has launched this new service to make it even easier for charities to use email to encourage their supporters to switch to everyclick.com. The Woodland Trust has enjoyed considerable success using the tool. In five days, its New Year Resolution email campaign has increased the numbers of searches that their supporters have made on everyclick.com by over 300%. Their estimated number of regular everyclick.com users has increased from 600 to over 1666 people.
Everyclick is offering to broadcast for free a New Year’s resolution message which can include a specific message from each charity. Further seasonal campaigns will be offered throughout the year. Polly Gowers, a founder of Everyclick said: "Email is such a powerful marketing tool we hope that it will not only enable charities to, encourage their supporters to use everyclick.com but also to broadcast other messages that they wish."She added that, while many charities can already email their supporter base, Everyclick had found that there are still many that can't or are not sure how to. Everyclick's offer applies to the 170,000 or so UK charities that its service is now available to, following its November 2006 partnership with Charities Aid Foundation. This partnership included the launch of free donation facilities for all charities. In its first 18 months of operation, Everyclick.com has raised over £100,000 for charity. The site has delivered more than 17 million searches.
In order for a charity to benefit from their supporters web searches all they need to do is encourage them to switch their searching to Everyclick.com and select to support the relevant charity. There are no charges to use the service.
