Jafar Ayad Abd Hamza (born 2005) received an injury to his eye and had to go to the hospital to have surgery.

During the procedure, two wooden splinters were removed from Jafar’s eye.  Following the surgery, his doctor prescribed an expensive medication, which his family can't afford.

Jafar’s father is employed on a daily wage basis.  As the cost of Jafar’s medication is IQD150.000 (approx  £90) monthly, the family approached Grayaat Citizens Advice and Care Centre, seeking the support of a generous philanthropist.
