 O Momins, anyone who, in the name of Allah, will feed and take care of
orphans, will as a result, receive more RIZQ (food). Orphans as well as the
one who feeds the orphans are merely instruments. The RAZAQ, The Bestower of
Rizq, is Allah. Allah is The One who gives RIZQ to all in this world. Anyone
who spends after orphans and bears the expense, will become prosperous and
the Rizq of such person will increase to a great extent. {Imam Ali a.s.}

Salaamun Alaikum,

Felicitations to you on the birth anniversary of the 1st Holy Imam, Ali
(a.s.). As we are in the middle of the month of Rajab, we are just over 6
weeks from the Holy Month of Ramadhan.

The Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h.)'s saying on the reward for those who feed those
who have completed their fast is well known to us all. There will be some
fasting men, women and children around the world who will not be able to
afford a square meal at the end of their fast and you can make a difference
to their lives. 

The Lady Fatemah (a.s.) Charitable Trust invite you to help the needy during
the Holy Month by providing the means for Iftaar to the needy in the
following countries:

Iraq
 - in Kerbala, Najaf, Basra and Hilla amongst other towns - 2,500
families

Iran
- Iraqi and Afghan refugees 150 families with orphans in Qum, Ahwaz,
Isfahan and Tehran. (Remark: In Isfahan, IRAC will distribute cash
assistance instead of food items. All families in Azna refugee camp will
receive a food basket; therefore, families with orphans will not receive
separate assistance from the orphans program). 650 families in Azna and
Jahrom refugee camps. Refugees in these camps are not receiving WFP rations
for a long time. 700 needy town-based families in Qum and Ahwaz.

India
- towns in the southern Indian State of Karnataka whose capital is
Bangalore 

Lebanon
- towns in the southern part of Lebanon, particularly Nabatiyeh
where the effects of Israeili weapons continue to kill and affect many innocent
lives

Tanzania
- coastal towns such as Dar es Salaam, the islands of Zanzibar and
Pemba and inland towns around Arusha

With your generosity we can reach out to even more families during the month
when Allah's mercy is reaching out to each and every one of you.

The average cost per family is just US$50 for the month. That will feed a
whole family for a whole month.

A typical parcel of Iftaar to a family will consist of rice, cooking oil, sugar, lentils, tomato paste, tea and dates.

Would you like to make a difference this Ramadhan? As we start around the
birth of the first Imam let us Insha-Allah aim to reach our target by the
birth anniversary of the last of the Noble chain of Imams, the Master of our
time so that by the beginning of the Holy Month the needy have provisions
for Iftaar.



Give As You Earn:
