Following an earlier appeal published on our website, we have received an update on the condition and progress of Nour Ahmed Abdul Rahman (aged 9).
Nour now urgently requires a life-saving kidney transplant.
Fortunately, her older sister is able to donate one of her kidneys. But, due to the very limited financial resources of her family, this may prove to be impossible as they are unable to afford the cost of the operation, which is 15,000,000 IQD (approx. £10,000).
This matter is weighing heavily on the family, and especially Nour’s father, who tries to support his family to the best of his ability on the limited salary he earns. He is desperate to find a way for his daughter to be treated and cured.
The family lives in a rented house and they have no resources aside from the father's salary, which is insufficient to meet their daily basic necessities of life.
Any and all contributions towards building up a Fund to provide for Nour’s transplant will be sincerely appreciated. She is in dire need of the operation.
In the meantime, Nour requires ongoing monthly sponsorship of 200,000 IQD (approx. £130) to cover the cost of regular monitoring and treatment.
This father, burdened by worries and sadness, appeals to generous kind-hearted people to help support him and save his child from pain, illness and premature death.
