The Holy month of Ramadan is upon us bringing wonderful opportunities to spread goodwill through acts of generosity and charity.  It is a time to think about those less fortunate than ourselves, and what we can do to enhance the lives of poor families, orphans, widows, the sick and forced displaced citizens of Iraq who suffer hunger, homelessness, pain, and loneliness – unhappiness that you and I cannot begin to imagine! 

At Shakiry Charity, especially during Ramadan, we are committed to providing food relief to hungry people living under such poor circumstances that they cannot afford a decent meal when they break their fast. 

Our Campaign focusses on the distribution of nutritious Food Baskets.  We need your support more than ever this year to sponsor a Food Basket(s)

Our target this year is to distribute 400 Food Baskets. 

Each Food Basket costs £40 and will feed a moderately sized family. 

In order to achieve our goal, we need to raise a whopping £16,000!! 

At our recent Gala Dinner celebration, we were overjoyed to receive £3500 in donations towards Ramadan Food Baskets. Our chairman pledged a further amount of £4000!  This means that we already have funds to provide 187 Food Baskets!

We invite you to join us in supporting our less fortunate brothers and sisters during the fasting month of Ramadan by donating £40 to our Food Basket Campaign.
