Basra Citizens Advice and Care Centre

 
Recently a group of women met with representatives of the Basra Citizen Advice and Care Centre in order to present their application for a business loan. 

These women are sole providers for their orphaned and destitute children and families.
They joined forces with the intention of securing a loan to buy sewing machines. 
Their skills and talents as seamstresses will enable them to fashion various articles and
garments which can then be sold to yield an income for them to support their families.

 
They proposed that the loan be paid in installments.  Staff at Basra Center are documenting their request and assisting in developing a business plan outlining the aims of what the ladies hope to achieve, the scope of the work, the amount of the loan, and repayment of the loan terms and conditions. This will then be presented to the Charity Bank Fund for approval, when completed.

 
The purpose of the Charity Bank Fund is to encourage and provide interest free financial
support (loans) to individuals who are keen to earn a source of income to assist them in
providing for their family’s needs.

 
Donations to the Charity Bank Fund are always sincerely appreciated. This is an excellent cause providing support and opportunities for willing individuals who
have dreams to succeed in life and earn a living, to provide for their children and families, develop pride in what they do, and become self-supportive.
