Staff from Sadr City Citizens Care and Advice Centre visited the home of Mr. Montaser Glob Laeibi, who suffers from obstructive paralysis.  He lives with his sick wife, who has a blockage in the bronchial tubes, which has to be drained every 15 days at a cost of 36,000 IQD (approx. £24) per treatment.

Due to their ill health, they are unable to work and do not have an income. Their son and his two children live with them, and this poor family is destitute and suffering from extreme poverty.

This family urgently needs to find a caring benefactor to help them meet their costs, as follows:

- 150,000 IQD (approx. £100) monthly to rent the house.

- Sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £35) to cover the cost of the wife’s monthly treatments.

-  Sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £35) for the paralyzed husband’s needs
