A trio of 'extreme cellists' are planning to busk their way around the Monopoly board in a charity stunt.
The musicians will give a short performance tomorrow at each of the 22 London streets featuring on the board game, to raise awareness for the spinal cord injury charity Aspire.
The cellists taking part are Jeremy Dawson, 31, from Leicester, Clare Wallace, 47, from Sheffield, and James Rees, 27, from Lichfield.
Mr Dawson, a statistics lecturer, said playing was easy compared with getting from one street to the next.
"It's the logistics, the travelling - quite a bit of walking and a few Tube journeys. And we will be carrying a lot of equipment as well," he added.
But the quick-footed trio already have experience of such feats.
Last year, they played on the roof of all 42 English cathedrals in 12 days, raising £5,000 for charity.
This time they plan to have a different repertoire at each stop.
"In Mayfair we will be playing A Nightingale Sang, and in The Strand it will be Let's All Go Down The Strand," said Mr Dawson.
"Hopefully people will stop and listen." He added the group will not be busking for money, but hopes to promote Aspire's work and encourage people to donate.
Andrew Ogierman, from Aspire, said: 'It will be another great way to increase the charity's profile.'
The Monopoly Board Challenge will start at Old Kent Road at 6.30am and finish 12 hours later at 8.30pm in Mayfair.
