Staff from the Centre recently visited Mr. Mohammed Abdul Khaliq who lives in the Medina district. Sadly, Mohammed suffers from diabetes and had to have his leg amputated as a result thereof.

As a result of his disability and his ill health, Mohammed is currently unable to work and support his family.  Once his health has stabilized, he wishes to be able to return to earning a living and providing for his family, but will probably need the support of a partner.

Currently, this family needs: -

- An amount of 800,000 IQD (approx. £535) to pay for further treatment of his amputation

- Monthly sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £35) to pay for his medication.
