The Holy month of Ramadan is upon us bringing opportunities to reflect on the plight of our brothers and sisters in Iraq. It is also a time to spread goodwill through acts of generosity and charity.
Every year, the number of Orphans, Widows and Families in need of daily support increases, and our Centres in Iraq are inundated with many new faces seeking food, shelter, medical and emotional support.
This year Shakiry Charity will be hosting our annual Iftar Dinner on Saturday 26th May 2018 to raise money to provide for those in need. There will be a special program of events for the evening, including an update on the happenings of the charity, an auction, raffles, and an activity for the children.
