During our field visit, our staff paid a visit to the family of Mr. (Naim SY), who supports his large family consisting of a wife and six children aged between 1 and 13 years, all living in poverty and in dire need.

This father, who has been overwhelmed with suffering, could not provide for his children's needs and send them to school to complete their education.
 
This family lives  in a single room that is whose roof is made of corrugated metal and does not protect against the summer heat. The room lacks in many  necessities such as a cooker and a washing machine.
 
This father works as a guard and receives 250,000 IQD, around (£162) per month. This amount is not enough to meet the basic needs of his family.
 
His wife has expressed her willingness to work as a bread-maker in order to earn a living and also to help her husband but they can not buy the traditional bread oven that works with gas (Tannur) because of their difficult financial situation.
 
This family desperately needs: -
 
- A financial assistance of 200,000 IQD, around (£130)  to buy a traditional bread oven (Tannur) with its accessories.
 
- A financial assistance of 150,000 IQD, around (£97) to buy a cooker.
 
- A financial assistance of 160,000 IQD, around (£105) to buy a washing machine.
 
- A financial assistance worth 100,000 IQD, around (£65) to provide for the necessities  of the  children such as clothes.
The branch calls on the good brothers to assist the head of this family and his wife in order for them to provide their family wit the most basic necessities.
