Staff from Al-Bayaa Branch visited the home of a widow (Badriya Kh.K).  They found that she lived together with her daughter in a rented house costing 250.000 IQD (approx £165) per month.

Previously Badriya made and sold bread to earn a living.  Some time ago she had to stop due to ill health.  She now works as a cleaner in other people's homes.

This poor mother and daugher, suffering from poverty and illness, survive only on a small social security allowance which they receive every two months. They are in desperate need of the following:

- A cash donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £165) to buy a refrigerator.

- A cash donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £100) to buy a cooker.

- An on-going medical sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £35) to pay for Badriya’s medical needs.

Staff of Al-Bayaa Branch appeal to people with compassionate and generous hearts to extend a helping hand to support this needy family.
