Widow appeals to people of compassion to lift her and her children out of their suffering and misery.

Staff from Al Bayaa Branch visited the widow, Shefa, A.A. and her family.  They found that she is living in one room with her three orphans in a house that lacks the most basic requirements to provide for a decent life.  The roof of the house is perilously worn out and could collapse at any moment.

The widow cares for her three orphans.  They have no source of income except for a meagre amount of money which her eldest son earns working on public holidays.  This is insufficient to pay for their basic needs in life.

The widow uses the space under a ladder to prepare and cook their daily food as there is no kitchen.

This family are in urgent need of: -

- A monthly sponsorship of 25.000 IQD (approx. £15) for each orphan.

- A donation of 300.000 IQD (approx. £200) to repair the ceiling of the room.

- A donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £165) to buy a refrigerator.
