A Mother appeals to people of compassion for help.

Staff from Najaf Branch visited the home and family of  Kafaa K.B.  This Widow supports three orphans.   The family has been living under difficult conditions of destitution and poverty since the death of her husband.

The children had to leave school as Kafaa could not afford to buy the necessary items of clothing and stationery which would allow her children to attend school.

The eldest son, who is 16 years old, is now working to earn a daily wage to help his mother and brothers.  Besides this, the family has no fixed income or assistance from the social welfare department.

The family is living in rented accommodation costing 150,000 IQD (approx. £100) per month.  The house lacks basic household necessities.  

This struggling mother expressed her keen desire to work on a sewing machine to earn a living and support her family by providing them with their most basic needs.

This family needs: -

- Monthly sponsorship of 25,000 IQD (approx. £15) for each orphan.

- A donation of 120.000 IQD (approx. £80) to buy a cooker.

- A donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £135) to buy a sewing machine.

Najaf Branch staff appeal to good-hearted people to help this family overcome the hardships of life.
