Handicapped father appeals for help to support his family.

This is a re-publish of an earlier appeal.

On August 20, 2018, Sadiq Abed Mohammed, a poor and humble man struggling to support his family, visited the branch. He was involved in an accident which resulted in a fracture of the knee joint preventing him from working and gaining a livelihood to provide for his family. He needs orthopaedic surgery to repair the damage, and allow him to return to work and support his family.

Sadiq has a daughter to support who is dumb, and in addition, one of his sons suffers from severe epilepsy.

This poor and impoverished family live in a rented house costing 250,000 IQD (approx. £165) per month.  They have no source of income.

This family desperately needs: -

- A donation towards the cost of the operation.  Operation cost is 1,000.000 IQD (approx. £665).

- An urgent donation of 500.000 IQD (approx. £332) for medical examinations and the provision of medicine for the sick children.

- A medical sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £35) for each of the two sick children.

Staff from the branch and members of this poor family call upon good and humane people to stand by them in their difficult ordeal.  Please help this honourable and decent father whose only wish is for good health and the ability to return to work to support his family.
