Basra Branch

The branch staff visited the family of an elderly poor lady (Sawsan. A.A), who lives with her five orphaned children aged 11-21 years in the home of a philanthropist. She earns a meagre income to provide for her children by selling sweets and pastries in addition to the social welfare benefit of 99,000 IQD (approx. £70) which she receives.  Her income is insufficient to provide for the family’s needs, and her mentally retarded daughter, who requires ongoing medical attention and medication

Their home lacks basic facilities such as a washing machine, a bread-maker, and a cooker.

This family needs:-

1—Family sponsorship of  50,000 IQD (approx. £35)  per month.

2- A sponsorship of 50,000  IQD (approx. £35) per month for the sick daughter.

3- A donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £135) to buy a washing machine.

4- A donation of 150,000 IQD (approx. £100) to buy a bread-maker.

5- An donation of 100, 000 IQD (£70)  to buy a cooker.

The branch staff appeals to kind hearted people to help this desperate family living under dire conditions.
