Staff from Sadr City Branch visited Mrs. Karima and her family.  They  live under difficult circumstances.  Her husband has suffered five strokes affecting his brain.  He has an eye injury (black water in the eys), and suffers from high blood pressure. He is handicapped and unable to work.

Mrs Karima is burdened by disease and destitution.  She suffers from blood pressure and diabetes and has a defective gland.

The house they live in is unfit for human habitation.   It needs extensive repairs. They have no fixed income and cannot afford any electrical appliances.  

This woman came to our branch desperately seeking someone to help her in these difficult circumstances.

 This family needs: -

 - A donation of 200,000 (approx. £135) to buy a washing machine.

- A donation of 150,000 IQD (approx. £100) to buy a cooker.

- A donation of 500,000 IQD (approx. £335) to repair the house.

- An ongoing medical sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £35) to pay for their medical needs.

The staff of the branch invites those of compassionate hearts to reach out and help this family, and provide for their basic needs
