Destitute family need your help.

Branch staff visited the family of Mrs Fatima M. R.  They found that her and her family are living in poverty, disease and destitution following the death of one of her three sons, fighting for his country, several years ago.

Of the remaining two sons, one is burdened with responsibilities to provide for his own large family financially, and the other son is unemployed.

Fatima’s health is poor as she suffers from several diseases (angina, heart failure, high blood pressure).

The staff of Sadr City appeals to compassionate people to reach out and help provide for Fatima and her family.

They urgently require:

- An ongoing monthly sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £35) to pay for the mother’s medical needs.

- A financial donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £135) to buy a washing machine.

- A financial donation of 100,000 IQD (approx. £65) to to buy medicines.
