A widow appeals for help. 

Our branch staff visited the family of the widow Sana S.KH who is 39 years old.  

Sana’s husband died two years ago of cancer and left her with six orphans aged 2- 14. Four of the children attend school. Sana has only one kidney.

The family has no breadwinner or source of income. The paternal uncle takes care of the orphans and their mother, although he, himself, has no salary and is reliant on casual work to support his own family and his deceased brother's family.

This family needs: 

- Ongoing monthly sponsorship for each orphans of 25.000 IQD (approx. £15).

-  A donation of 100,000 IQD (approx. £65) to purchase school supplies so the children can       attend school.

- A monthly sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30) to pay for the mother’s medication.

- A donation of 220.000 IQD (approx. £145) to buy a refrigerator.

- A donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £100) to buy a washing machine

The branch staff and family appeal to people of charity to extend a helping hand to this family in need.
