Najaf Branch

Grandmother appeals for support to  care for her ill and orphaned grandchildren. 

The staff of the branch visited the family of Eman A A. She lives with her husband and her orphaned grand - children in a religious charity home on the road to Karbala, Najaf.  They were forced to take refuge in this home after they were displaced from the province of Mosul due to ISIS terrorist activities.

The owner of the charity built a room for them but it lacks the most basic requirements (such as a heater, bed covers, a washing machine etc). Unable to keep warm in the winter cold, the children are ill with Bronchitis . 

This poor family is weighed down by poverty and suffering.  They urgently need: -

- Ongoing monthly sponsorship of 25.000 IQD (approx. £15)  for each orphan.

- A donation of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30) to buy a heater.

- A donation of 225.000 IQD (approx. £150) to buy a washing machine.

Staff at the branch appeal to good people to help alleviate the suffering of this family which is in dire need.
