Baghadad - Sadr City Branch:

Staff at the Sadr City Branch visited the widow, Amira. M.A, This poor widow suffers from several diseases (diabetes, hypertension and inflammation in the chest).  Her toes were amputated several months ago as a result of the worsening condition of her diabetes.  She needs ongoing medical reviews to monitor her condition, and daily medication.

This family does not have a breadwinner.  Their only source of income is a small social security benefit that is insufficient to meet the cost of treatment and weekly medical reviews.

This poor and lonely lady tries to earn a modest income to support her needs. She knits and sells the products for a very modest price.

This widow is in need for: 

- A monthly sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £35) to pay for her medical requirements.

- A donation of 100.000 IQD (approx. £ 65) to pay for treatment.

- A monthly sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. $35) to buy food.

This widow and staff of Sadr City Branch appeal to charitable people to extend a helping hand.
