Sadr City Branch

Staff and volunteers from Sadr City Branch visited the family of Mr. R.A.J.  This family lives in a rented house that is inhabitable and requires extensive repairs.

The poor father works hard for a daily wage which is insufficient to pay for rent, let alone his family's many needs.

The father has five daughters. One of them has finished secondary school but has been unable to complete her university studies because of their poor economic conditions. The remaining four girls would also like to continue their studies, but the family’s financial conditions are demanding, making their dream of attending university impossible.

This family needs: -

-          Sponsorship for the girls to continue their studies of 150.000 IQD (approx. £100) per month.

-          A donation of 270.000 IQD (approx. £180) to buy a refrigerator.

-          A donation of 175.000 IQD (approx. £115) to buy a washing machine.

The staff of the charity appeal to compassionate people to help the girls achieve their dreams, and also to improve the family’s living conditions.
